Motion to adopt a resolution declaring the Jackson Street Head Start property located at 1335 Jackson Street in Alexandria, LA 71301 to be no longer needed for school purposes and therefore that it be in the best interest to the school system served by the sale of said property and authorize the Board President to execute said resolution provided by legal counsel - Mr. Jeff Powell

Motion by Keith Breazeale, second by Sandra Franklin

Sub Motion - to declare the Jackson Street Head Start property located at 1335 Jackson Street in Alexandria, LA 71301 to be no longer needed for school purposes and therefore that it be in the best interest to the school system served by the sale of said property

Motion by Willard McCall, second by Keith Breazeale.

5. Motion to enter into a Buy-Sell Contract with the Rapides Parish Indigent Defender Board to sell the Jackson Street Head Start Facility located at 1335 Jackson Street, Alexandria, LA 71301 in Rapides Parish Louisiana for an appraised value of $291,000 and authorize the Board President to sign the Buy-Sell Contract, the Act of Conveyance and the Intergovernmental Agreement in connection therewith - Mr. Jeff Powell

Motion by Keith Breazeale, second by Linda Burgess

Amended Motion: to enter into a Buy-Sell Contract with the Rapides Parish Indigent Defender Board to sell the Jackson Street Head Start Facility located at 1335 Jackson Street, Alexandria, LA 71301 in Rapides Parish Louisiana for an appraised value of $258,972.00 and authorize the Board President to sign the Buy-Sell Contract, the Act of Conveyance and the Intergovernmental Agreement in connection therewith

Motion by Keith Breazeale, second by Linda Burgess.
